Cultivation method:

Tray method:

  1. Fill a germination tray with a single cup of seeds and place it in a dish of water to soak the seeds for 4 to 8 hours.
  2. Rinse the seeds twice a day in clean water, making sure to drain the tray well to avoid any build-up of moisture.
  3. Sprouts will be ready to harvest in 8 to 10 days. Store them in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

For even crunchier sprouts, add a larger tray under your sprouting tray and fill it with 1/4 inch of water so the roots absorb more moisture.

Soil method:

  1. Prepare a tray with moistened soil and soak the seeds for 4 to 8 hours.
  2. Sprinkle the seeds over the soil and press them gently into the potting soil. Cover lightly with a towel or a thin layer of soil to retain moisture.
  3. Stack an empty tray with a weight on top to help the seeds root well. Remove the cover once the seeds start to germinate and mist them twice a day.

For successful germination, maintain adequate humidity and a constant temperature. Avoid overwatering after germination to avoid flooding the young seedlings.
