Grow in a germination tray with drainage holes. Leave to soak for approximately 4 to 8 hours. Rinse or spray twice daily for approximately 10 days. It is common for wheatgrass to have traces of mold as it grows. Often, there is less mold when growing in soil than in hydroponics.
Soak 1-2 layers of seeds for about 4-8 hours, drain well. You can harvest them earlier as the stems can become fibrous if they are too long, cut off the shoot and use them.
Jar method, place 3 to 5 tablespoons of seeds in a wide-mouthed jar with a screen lid. Add the water, swirl and drain. Add 1 cup of cold water and soak for about 6 hours, rinse twice a day and fill the jar with cold water, stir and drain. Turn the jar upside down and place it at an angle in a sink or bowl.
Ready to use 2-3 days. Refrigerate to store.
