In the garden, it beautifully adorns fences, trellises and pergolas. Mix the seeds with an equal volume of damp sand or vermiculite. Place everything in a zip-top plastic bag. Leave in a cold room or refrigerator for 30 to 90 days. Then, sow in the desired location as soon as the temperature is suitable. Or, sow outdoors in the fall in the desired location. Germination will occur the following spring or later.
