The white fruits take on an amber color when ripe. The very vigorous growing plant produces fruits 25 to 30 cm long which keep for more than 6 months, sometimes even a year. Once cooked, the flesh of this squash breaks into filaments similar to spaghetti. We owe the discovery of this Chinese selection to a Japanese named Sakata.
**Some squashes may be slightly different in shape or color. However, the taste and texture remain delicious! Less than 10% of plants are affected by this small variability. **
