Originally from the Crimean peninsula on the Black Sea, this large tomato is a children’s favorite because it has no acidity and contains few seeds. The smooth, purple-red fruits with green shoulders are round and regular and turn almost black in very hot summers. Their dark red and green flesh has a unique, mild and sweet taste that is popular in salads. Medium-sized fruits most often weigh between 120 and 150 g, but they can sometimes weigh double that. The indeterminate growth plant displays very good resistance to drought and can measure up to 2 m in height.
