How to Grow:
Select a sunny, wind-protected site. Sow 5 seeds per hill at a depth of 2.5 cm, spacing hills 1.5 to 2 m apart. Thin to 3 or 4 plants per hill. For short growing seasons, start seeds indoors 4 weeks before transplanting. Seeds require warm soil (minimum 21°C) to germinate, taking 10 to 14 days. Maintain consistent watering throughout the growing season to support healthy vines and fruit development.
The 'Delicious 51' cantaloupe is an excellent choice for sweet, juicy melons, even in cooler climates.
