Cultivation method:
Sow 'Oklahoma' zinnia seeds directly into the ground after the last frost, or start indoors 4 to 6 weeks before that time. Plant seeds 1 cm deep and space plants 30 to 45 cm apart to allow for good development. These flowers thrive in full sun and well-drained soil that is rich in organic matter.
Pinch out the main stems of young plants once they reach 4 to 6 inches (10 to 15 cm) in height. This technique encourages increased branching and promotes abundant flower production throughout the summer. Water regularly, being careful to avoid wetting the leaves to prevent fungal diseases.
Harvest flowers early in the morning when temperatures are cool for fresh, vase-lasting stems. Their hardiness and vibrant colors make them an ideal choice for beds, borders, and rustic bouquets.
Bring a touch of vitality and charm to your garden with the zinnia 'Oklahoma' mix, an essential variety for simple and elegant floral arrangements.
