Sweet corn 'Allure' is a recent variety that stands out for its well-formed, sweet and tasty cobs, ideal for lovers of fresh corn. Robust and vigorous, this imposing 2.1 meter plant produces abundantly throughout the season. Its well-covered cobs, located at a height of 65 to 70 cm, are easy to harvest, making 'Allure' corn an excellent choice for gardeners looking for performance and quality.

Spread : 30 to 60 cm
Height of ears : 65 to 70 cm
Plant height : 2.1 m
Quantity per packet : 75 seeds
Companion plants : Pumpkin, squash, shelling bean, bush bean, parsley, climbing pea
Enemy plants : Swiss chard, beetroot, ground cherry, mint, rosemary, tomato

Cultivation method:

Sow 'Allure' sweet corn seeds directly in the garden when the soil temperature is at least 60°F (16°C), usually 2 weeks after the last frost. Plant 1 to 1.2 inches (25 to 30 cm) deep, spacing plants 10 to 12 inches (25 to 30 cm) apart in rows 24 to 36 inches (60 to 90 cm) apart. For best pollination, grow in blocks of multiple rows rather than in a single row.

Corn prefers soil rich in organic matter, well-drained and exposed to full sun. Water regularly, especially during the growing season. To maximize yields, combine it with companion plants such as beans and squash, creating a symbiosis that is beneficial for growth.

Harvest the cobs when the kernels are well filled and release a milky liquid when squeezed. 'Allure' sweet corn provides a generous and delicious harvest, perfect for eating fresh or preserving.
