Cultivation method:
Sow organic 'Procraft' sweet pepper seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost in a light, well-drained potting mix. Maintain a germination temperature of 68-75°F (20-24°C) using a heat mat if necessary. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when two pairs of true leaves appear.
Transplant seedlings to the garden after the last frost, when nighttime temperatures are above 54°F (12°C). Place in full sun, spacing 12 to 16 inches (30 to 40 cm) between plants and 24 inches (60 cm) between rows. Water regularly to maintain even moisture and fertilize once a month with a high-potassium fertilizer to promote vigorous growth and abundant harvests.
