Cultivation method:

Cucumbers thrive in light, well-drained, organically enriched soil with a pH of about 6.5. Sow seeds indoors three weeks before transplanting or directly in the garden when soil temperatures reach 60°F (16°C). Plant 1 inch (2.5 cm) deep, spacing plants 5 to 10 feet (1.5 to 3 m) apart to encourage spreading. For best yields, grow cucumbers on a trellis to produce straight, easy-to-harvest fruit. Water regularly to maintain consistent moisture, and use mulch to protect the soil.

Sow every 2 weeks for a staggered harvest. Handle plants only when leaves are dry to prevent disease.

Add 'Marketmore 70' cucumber to your garden for generous harvests and exceptional flavor, all while growing in an environmentally friendly way.
