The 'Cracker Jack Rouge F1' watermelon is an early, seedless variety that stands out for its great vigor and tolerance to several diseases. This oval melon, with firm, sweet red flesh, produces abundant fruit weighing between 6.8 and 8.6 kg. Ideal for a generous and tasty summer harvest, it replaces the popular 'Road Trip F1' variety. Note that a pollinator plant is required to ensure effective pollination.

Sow 'Cracker Jack Rouge F1' watermelon seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost, or directly into the ground when the soil temperature is at least 18°C. Plant in well-drained soil rich in organic matter in full sun. Space plants 3 to 3 feet apart in rows 5 to 6 feet apart. Add one pollinator plant (such as 'Ace F1') for every two 'Cracker Jack Rouge F1' plants to ensure adequate pollination. Water regularly, especially during fruit formation, and mulch to maintain moisture and reduce weeds. Harvest melons when the rinds become dull and the undersides turn a light yellowish hue.
