Cultivation method:
Sow seeds as soon as the soil can be worked in spring, 3 mm (1/8") deep and in rows 45 cm (18") apart. Repeat sowing every two weeks for a constant supply. This variety prefers well-drained organic soil and regular watering to maintain consistent moisture, essential for good growth.
Harvest whole heads by cutting them at the base below the outer leaves, or harvest the leaves gradually by cutting about 2.5 cm (1") above the base to encourage new growth. Although 'Lentissima Montare' lettuce excels in cool climates, it also performs well in summer due to its exceptional hardiness.
