Growing Method – Let it Climb!

Soil preparation

This bean prefers light, well-drained soil with an optimum pH of around 6.5 . Avoid cold, wet soils which will slow its germination and growth.

Sowing
Sow directly into the ground when the soil reaches 16°C (60°F) .
Plant seeds 1 inch (2.5 cm) deep and space them 3 inches (8 cm) apart in rows 18 to 28 inches (45 to 70 cm) apart.
Provide it with solid support , such as a sturdy trellis or well-anchored stakes, because this plant climbs high and fast !

Maintenance and harvesting

🌱 Regular watering , especially during flowering and pod formation.
📏 Pick young pods , between 30 and 50 cm , for a tender texture and optimal flavor.
🌿 Avoid handling plants when they are wet to reduce the risk of disease.
