Cultivation method:
To speed up germination, soak seeds in water overnight before sowing. Plant seeds 6 mm (1/4") deep in rows 40 cm (16") apart. Keep the seedbed evenly moist and use mulch to encourage germination, which can take up to three weeks. Avoid crusting the soil, which can hinder seed emergence.
Once germinated, thin the plants to 10cm (4") apart. Parsley 'Comune 2' grows well in fertile, well-drained soil, and it is important to keep the area weed-free. This plant tolerates both full sun and partial shade.
