Cultivation method:
Sow directly into the ground as soon as the soil is workable in spring, 3 mm (1/8") deep and in rows 45 cm (18") apart. To ensure a constant supply, sow every 14 days. This lettuce thrives in well-drained, organic soil with regular watering to maintain moisture.
Harvest young leaves for tender salads or wait until they are mature to enjoy larger leaves. Cut the leaves back to about 2.5 cm (1") above the base to encourage new growth. Although it prefers cool temperatures, this variety tolerates summer well without compromising its eating quality.
