Spacing : 4 to 7 inches
Sowing : Indoor or direct sowing
Exposure : Full sun or partially shaded
Quantity per pack : Untreated, non-GMO seeds
Cultivation method:
Sow directly outdoors after the last frost, or start seeds indoors in early April. Press seeds into soil without covering. Germination occurs in 5 to 10 days at 20°C (70°F). Once germinated, grow under artificial light, then harden off before transplanting outdoors in late May, spacing each plant 10 cm (4") apart.
Larkspur grows best in well-drained soil and full sun in areas with cool summers. In areas with hot summers, it prefers partial shade of 4 to 6 hours per day. After the first bloom, prune the plants lightly to encourage a second bloom.
