Sow directly into the open ground when the soil is well warmed (minimum 16°C) or start seedlings indoors about 4 weeks before the last frost. Plant seeds 2.5cm deep, spacing plants 1m apart.

Prepare a rich, loose, well-drained soil, adding compost or well-rotted manure. Water regularly to maintain constant moisture, especially in dry periods.

Harvest the fruits when they reach full maturity and their cream color with green streaks is well defined. Store them in a cool, dry place to keep them longer.

With its unique taste and attractive presentation, 'Bush Delicata' squash is ideal for roasts, gratins or purées, adding a touch of flavour and elegance to your meals.
