Basil Disc (Ocimum basilicum) – Offered by the seed company WH Perron
WH Perron Basil Discs make growing this essential herb easy. Each disc contains approximately 100 seeds, perfect for pesto lovers, sauces or fresh salads. Fresh basil is easy to grow in a pot or small garden.
Spread: Not applicable
Quantity per pack: 3 seed discs (approx. 100 seeds per disc)
Maturity: Annual
Formulation: Untreated
Cultivation method:
Use a container slightly wider than the disk (8 cm) and fill it with light, well-drained potting soil. Place the disk directly on the surface of the soil and cover it with a thin layer of vermiculite or potting soil. Water thoroughly to moisten the substrate.
Place the pot in a sunny spot or under artificial light to encourage good germination. Water regularly to keep the soil moist, but not soggy. Basil likes heat, so make sure the temperature is right. Harvest the leaves as soon as they are large enough to encourage new growth.
