Sow directly into the open ground when the soil is well warmed, or start indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost. Plant seeds 2-3cm deep, spacing plants 1.5-2m apart in the row and rows 2-3m apart to allow the vines to spread.

Favor rich, well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil (pH 6.0 to 7.0) and a location in full sun. Water regularly to maintain consistent moisture and fertilize sparingly to promote healthy growth and abundant production.

Harvest pumpkins when their skin is white and hard. Their unique shape and excellent storage life make them an ideal choice for fall decorations and original culinary recipes.
