Cultivation method:
Sow seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last expected frost. Use a well-drained potting soil and place seeds on the surface without covering them with soil, as they need light to germinate. Maintain a constant temperature of 72 to 80 degrees F (22 to 26 degrees C) to promote successful germination.
Once the seedlings are well developed, transplant them into pots or directly into the garden, spacing each plant 30 to 40 cm apart. Place them in a sunny location, as purslane appreciates warmth and full sun to produce abundant flowering.
This variety tolerates heat and poor soils well, making it an excellent choice for planters, hanging baskets or flower beds. To prolong flowering, water moderately and avoid excess moisture.
