Its edible and slightly peppery flowers and leaves add a decorative and tasty touch to salads and other dishes. Adapted to dry soils, this plant is easy to grow and suitable for both amateur and experienced gardeners.

Plant height : 25 cm
Flowering : June to September
Exposure : Sun, partial shade
Soil : Dry
Use : Edible flowers, border plants, hanging containers, flower boxes, pots, flower beds, rockeries, scented plants
Sowing month : May
Germination time : 12 days at 19°C
Quantity per packet : 40 seeds

Cultivation method :

Sow directly in the ground or in a container from May, when the risk of frost has passed. Plant the seeds 1 cm deep in dry, well-drained soil. Choose a location in full sun or partial shade to encourage abundant flowering.

Avoid overly rich soils which encourage the development of foliage to the detriment of flowers. Water moderately without soaking the soil to maintain healthy growth.

Harvest the edible flowers and leaves to add a slightly spicy flavor and aesthetic touch to your salads, dishes, and culinary decorations. Add Nasturtium Alaska Mix to your garden for colorful green spaces and tasty recipes all summer long.
