Sow Lobelia 'Regatta White' seeds indoors at 70-72°F (21-22°C), about 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Do not cover the seeds with soil, as they need light to germinate. The seeds will germinate in 5-10 days. Transplant the young plants into containers, hanging baskets or open ground once the risk of frost has passed, spacing them 8-10 inches (20-25cm) apart. Lobelia prefers a sunny or partially shaded location and well-drained soil.
