Cultivation method:
Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Use a well-drained potting soil and maintain a temperature of 72-80°F (22-26°C) to promote optimal germination. Transplant outdoors after the last frost in a sunny location, in rich, slightly moist soil. Water regularly to prevent the soil from drying out, but not excessively to avoid disease. Plant the seedlings in pots at least 8 inches (20 cm) in diameter or directly in the garden, respecting a distance of 18-24 inches (45-60 cm) between each plant.
