Cultivation method:

Sow seeds directly into the ground when the soil is well warmed, or start seedlings indoors. 3 to 4 weeks before last frost. Plant 2 to 3 cm deep and space plants 1 to 2 m apart, depending on space available. Prepare a rich, well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil with a pH of 6.0 to 7.0.

Grow cucumbers on a trellis to maximize space and promote straighter fruit, or let them sprawl on the ground for traditional growing. Maintain consistent moisture, especially during hot weather, to prevent fruit from becoming bitter.

Harvest cucumbers when they reach 23 cm in size, before they become overripe, to preserve their crisp texture and mild flavour. This versatile variety fits perfectly into vegetable gardens and will delight with its productivity and ease of cultivation.

Add 'Marketmore 76' cucumber to your vegetable garden for a tasty, bountiful harvest, perfect for all your summer recipes.
