Cultivation method:
Sow seeds indoors about 8 to 10 weeks before the last frost, maintaining a temperature of 68 to 75 degrees F (20 to 24 degrees C) for germination in 10 to 20 days. Transplant seedlings to the garden or container after all danger of frost. Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. Space plants 12 to 18 inches apart to allow for full development. Deadhead spent flowers regularly to prolong blooms. This coneflower tolerates heat well and requires little maintenance.
