Cultivation method:
Sow seeds 8-10 weeks before the last expected frost. Surface sow in moist, light soil, then cover lightly. Maintain a temperature of 22-24°C to encourage rapid germination.
Once the seedlings have 4-5 true leaves, transplant them into individual pots. Place them in a well-lit location but out of direct sunlight to avoid sunburn.
Plant coleus in the ground or in containers after all danger of frost, in well-drained, fertile soil. Water regularly to maintain consistent moisture and pinch back the tips to encourage branching.
