Cultivation method:
Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last expected frost. Maintain a temperature of 72 to 80°F (22 to 26°C) to promote rapid germination, in 7 to 14 days. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when they are 2 to 3 inches (5 to 8 cm) tall.
After the last frost, transplant seedlings into hanging baskets or pots at least 10 inches in diameter, using rich, well-drained potting soil. Expose them to full sun to maximize flowering and fruit production.
Water regularly to maintain constant humidity without excess and fertilize every 2 weeks with a balanced fertilizer. Harvest the fruits when they are very red and firm to enjoy their optimal flavor.
