Sow indoors about 6 to 8 weeks before the last expected frost. Maintain a temperature of 72 to 80°F (22 to 26°C) to ensure rapid germination, in 7 to 14 days. Transplant into individual pots when they are 2 to 3 inches (5 to 8 cm) tall.
After the last frost, transplant them into rich, well-drained soil in full sun. Space the plants 20 to 24 inches apart to allow them to grow well. Water regularly to keep the soil moist, but avoid overwatering to prevent disease.
Fertilize every 2 weeks with a balanced fertilizer to support their rapid growth and abundant production. Harvest the fruits when they reach a beautiful bright orange color and a firm texture, to fully enjoy their sweet flavor.
