Cultivation method:

Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost. Maintain a temperature of 72-80°F (22-26°C) for rapid germination in 7-14 days. When seedlings are 2 inches (5 cm) tall, transplant them into individual pots to encourage further development.

When all risk of frost has passed, plant them in the ground or in containers. Use rich, well-drained soil and place them in a location in full sun. Space the plants 60 to 80 cm apart to promote good aeration. Water regularly without wetting the foliage and install stakes to support the plants.

Harvest the fruits when their bright red color is pronounced and their texture is firm. Regular picking will promote continuous production.
