Costa™ Mix Marigold is an early, uniform variety that produces stunning double flowers in a variety of colours. Each flower, approximately 8 cm in diameter, brightens up flower beds, containers or arrangements with its vibrant hues. Cultivation method:
Sow seeds directly into the ground after the last frost or start seedlings indoors 6-8 weeks before expected frost. Maintain a constant temperature of 70°F (21°C) to encourage rapid germination in 7-10 days. Transplant seedlings outdoors when they are 2-3 inches (5-7 cm) tall, spacing each plant 12 inches (30 cm) apart.
Plant Costa™ Mix in a sunny to partially shaded area in well-drained soil. Water regularly to encourage continuous blooms and deadhead spent flowers to prolong production. Edible petals can be harvested to decorate salads or desserts, and dried flowers add a natural touch to decorative arrangements.
