Kale 'Darkibor F1' is an early variety, easy to grow and ideal for late summer or early fall harvests. With its upright habit and extra curly, highly blistered leaves, this variety offers excellent garden stability. Perfect for kale chips, it is also delicious in baked or stir-fried dishes.

Cultivation method:
Sow directly into the ground as soon as the soil has warmed, or start indoors 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost. Plant seeds 1 cm deep, spacing plants 30 cm apart in the row and 40 cm apart in rows. This kale prefers rich, well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil (pH 6.0 to 7.0).
Water regularly to maintain consistent moisture, especially during dry spells. Harvest outer leaves as soon as they reach a sufficient size to encourage continued production. The thick, curly leaves are ideal for making chips or adding to soups and cooked dishes.
