Cultivation method:
Sow seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last expected frost Maintain a temperature of 65-68°F (18-20°C) for rapid germination Transplant young plants outdoors after the last frost into rich, well-drained soil Install a support such as a trellis or pergola to guide the growth of the vines
Prepare fresh, rich, well-drained soil outdoors Turn the soil over to a depth of 30cm and mix with an equal part of compost Place the plant in a suitable hole and add organic bone meal or a soil activator to stimulate the roots Compact the soil and water regularly for the first few days
