Cultivation method:
Peas are a cool weather crop. Sow directly in the ground from mid-April to mid-May when soil temperatures are between 10 and 16°C (50-60°F). For direct sowing, plant in double rows 25 cm (10") apart, with seeds 6.5 cm (2.5") in the row and 1.25 to 2.5 cm (1/2 to 1") deep. Space each double row 75 cm (2.5') apart.
Alternatively, sow in 120cm (48") square blocks, with seeds spaced 6.5cm (2.5") apart. Repeat sowing every 10-14 days to prolong the harvest. Keep the soil evenly moist for regular germination.
Climbing vines absolutely require support for their development. Once flowering begins, water abundantly to ensure a good harvest. Harvest pods daily to enjoy their maximum flavor and encourage continued production.
