Cultivation method:
'Berlicum Coreless' carrots thrive in deep, loose, well-cultivated soil. For even seeding, mix the seeds with a little sand before sowing. When soil temperatures are above 7.5°C (45°F), sow seeds 7 to 15 mm (1/4 to 1/2 inch) deep, spacing rows 45 to 60 cm (18 to 24 inches). Sow at 5-day intervals to spread out harvests.
Keep the seedbed evenly moist during the two weeks of germination, but avoid crusting that could reduce seedling emergence. Thin seedlings to 2 inches (5 cm) apart. Maintain regular watering, weed carefully, and avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers to prevent root deformation. Harvest carrots as soon as they reach a good color and desired size.
