Growing instructions
Sow directly outdoors after the last frost for a generous bloom 6 to 8 weeks after planting. For an earlier start, sow indoors in early April. Lightly press the seeds into the soil without covering them, as they require light to germinate. Maintain a temperature of around 20°C (70°F) for fast germination, which usually occurs within 5 to 10 days.
Once the seedlings have developed, grow them under artificial light and harden them off before transplanting outdoors in late May, spacing them 10 to 18 cm (4 to 7 inches) apart. These carnations thrive in well-drained soil and prefer full sun, though they can tolerate partial shade in hotter climates.
To extend blooming, lightly trim the plants after the first wave of flowers to encourage new growth. With their delicate fragrance and vibrant blooms, these carnations are a must-have for enhancing any garden or creating elegant floral arrangements.
Giant Chaubad Pink Carnations are the perfect choice for lovers of romantic and fragrant gardens!
