Cultivation method:

This variety thrives in cool weather, making it an excellent choice for early or late crops.

  • Indoor sowing : Start seeds in a soilless mix in late March to early April. Transplant seedlings into the ground in late April or early May, spacing plants 12 to 14 inches (30 to 35 cm) apart and rows 3 feet (90 cm) apart.
  • Direct sowing : For autumn cultivation, sow directly in open ground at the end of summer.

Water regularly and enrich the soil with a balanced fertilizer to support vigorous plant growth. Harvest the main head when the buds are tight and compact, well before they begin to flower. Lateral shoots will then appear and extend the harvest period.
