For direct sowing, wait until late May, when all risk of frost has passed, then sow seeds directly outdoors. To prolong the harvest, repeat sowing every two weeks until August. For indoor starts, sow seeds a few weeks before the last expected frost date, then transplant seedlings once temperatures are stable.

Greek Globe basil prefers well-drained soil and full sun exposure. It can also be grown indoors on a bright windowsill or under grow lights during the winter. Water regularly to keep the soil slightly moist and prune the plants to encourage dense, uniform growth.
