Cultivation method:
Sow directly outdoors from spring to autumn or start indoors 10 weeks before the last frost. Sow 3mm deep in a soilless mix and keep at 20°C in the dark to encourage germination in 7-14 days. After germination, grow on at a cooler temperature before hardening off and transplanting into the garden once frost has passed. Space them 15cm apart.
To prolong flowering, prune plants in mid-summer to encourage new growth and flowers during the cooler temperatures of late summer and early fall.
