Cultivation method:
'Beefy Purple' tomatoes prefer organically rich, well-drained soil and full sun exposure. Sow seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost, 1/4 to 3/4 inch (0.5 to 1 cm) deep in moist potting soil. Maintain a temperature of 68 to 77°F (20 to 25°C) for rapid germination in 7 to 14 days. Transplant seedlings outdoors when all danger of frost has passed, spacing plants 20 to 28 inches (50 to 70 cm) apart.
Stake plants to support their heavy fruits. Ensure regular watering without wetting the foliage to prevent disease. Harvest fruits at full maturity, when their deep purple color is well developed, to enjoy their unique taste.
