Also known as 'Dwarf Sungold', Dwarf Sunflower 'Teddybear' offers fluffy flowers reminiscent of larger sungolds, but on compact plants that reach just 2 feet tall. Ideal for containers and window boxes, it fits perfectly into small outdoor spaces while attracting attention and pollinators.

Cultivation method:
Easy to grow. Sow directly into the ground in late May, 6-12mm deep and space seeds 7.5-10cm apart. Once seedlings have emerged, thin or transplant to maintain spacing of 30-45cm.
For an early start, sow indoors 2 to 3 weeks before the last frost date. Use peat pots or Jiffy 7s, maintaining a temperature of 70°F (21°C). Harden off seedlings before transplanting to a sunny site. Water regularly and fertilize twice during the season with a 15-5-15 granular fertilizer or equivalent. Germination occurs in 5 to 10 days.
