Cultivation method
Sweet pepper 'Feu Rouge' is best grown in full sun , in rich, well-drained soil that has been amended with compost . Sow seeds indoors 8 to 10 weeks before the last frost , then transplant into the ground or pots when night temperatures remain above 12°C . This pepper appreciates heat and will benefit from mulch at the base to retain moisture and warm the soil. Spacing each plant 40 to 50 cm apart allows good air circulation and promotes vigorous growth.
