The 'Witch's Fingers' carrot is a spectacular mix of purple, red, yellow and orange carrots , bringing as much colour as flavour to your harvest. ✅ Sow directly in open ground as soon as the soil reaches 7°C , in rows spaced 20 cm apart.
✅ Sow shallowly (5 mm) and keep the soil moist to promote good germination.
✅ Thin out gradually to 5-7 cm to allow the roots to develop well.
Recipe idea: Roasted carrots with honey and spices
• 6 ‘Witch’s Fingers’ carrots
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tbsp honey
• ½ tsp ground cumin
• ½ tsp paprika
• Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Peel and cut the carrots in half lengthwise.
- Mix oil, honey, spices, salt and pepper.
- Brush the carrots with this marinade.
- Roast for 25 to 30 minutes , until tender and lightly caramelized.
