Cultivation method

The 'Provider' bean is grown in full sun , in light, well-drained soil enriched with compost . Sow directly in the open ground after the last frosts, when the soil temperature reaches 10 to 12 ° C , which makes it one of the most resistant varieties to cool temperatures. Sow the seeds 2-3 cm deep , in rows spaced 40 cm apart, then thin the plants to 10-15 cm . Moderate but regular watering encourages abundant production and very crunchy pods. Harvest young (12-15 cm) for optimal texture and prolonged production.
