Recipe idea: Roasted beets with honey and thyme
• 3 'Detroit Dark Red' beets
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tbsp honey
• 1 tsp fresh thyme
• Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Peel and cut the beets into quarters.
- Mix with oil, honey, thyme, salt and pepper.
- Arrange on a baking sheet and roast for 30 to 40 minutes , until tender.
