A Hardy and Vibrant Ground Cover
Snow-in-Summer (Cerastium tomentosum), offered by OSC Seeds
Snow-in-Summer is a hardy perennial that brightens gardens with its dazzling white flowers in late spring. Its silver, evergreen foliage and spreading growth make it an excellent ground cover for hot, dry areas with poor soils. Reaching a height of 20 cm, it is sometimes used as a lawn substitute on sunny slopes.

How to Grow:
Start seeds indoors in a soilless mix in mid-March, keeping them at 18 °C. Seeds germinate in 20–30 days. Grow under artificial light, harden off, and transplant to a sunny location. Alternatively, sow directly in the garden between mid- and late May. After flowering, trim plants to 5 cm for a tidy appearance. Two grams of seeds cover approximately 4 m².
