Portulaca Flower Mix is a vibrant annual that grows to a height of 3 to 4 inches (10 cm). It produces single, brightly colored flowers that are perfect for embellishing borders, rock gardens, and other sunny locations. Adapted to warm and temperate climates, this easy-to-grow plant adds a touch of cheer to any garden.

Cultivation method:
Sow directly outdoors after the last frost, or start seeds indoors in early April. Press seeds lightly into the soil without covering them, as they require light to germinate. Maintain a temperature of 20°C (70°F) for optimal germination in 5 to 10 days.
For indoor growing, grow seedlings under artificial light until they are quite robust. Then harden off the seedlings before transplanting them outdoors in late May, spacing them 10cm (4") apart in well-drained soil.
Portulaca thrive in full sun, but can also tolerate partial shade in areas with very hot summers. Prune lightly after the first flush of blooms to encourage a second flush of flowers.
