Suitable for warm climates, it can also be grown indoors for a continuous harvest even in winter.

Cultivation method :

Sow seeds in March-April in a bright, warm location. Transplant seedlings into the garden in late May once the risk of frost has passed. Use rich, well-drained, slightly moist potting soil to encourage healthy, abundant growth.

Harvest the leaves starting at the bottom to encourage branching and pinch the ends of the stems in July to prevent flowering and prolong production. This basil can be harvested between July and August to be frozen or dried and used throughout the year.

Add purple basil to your garden or vegetable patch for an aesthetic and tasty harvest, ideal for enhancing your favorite dishes.
