Cultivation method:

Sow seeds indoors 10 to 12 weeks before the last frost. Maintain a constant temperature of 27 to 30°C to encourage successful germination, which can take 14 to 21 days. Once the seedlings are well established, transplant them into individual pots and gradually acclimate them to the outdoors. Transplant the seedlings into rich, well-drained soil in full sun once all risk of frost has passed. Space the plants 50 to 60 cm apart to ensure good ventilation and reduce the risk of disease.

Precautions :

Use gloves when handling the fruit and avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Bhut Jolokia is ideal for preparing hot sauces, marinades or spicy dishes, but consume in moderation due to its extreme intensity.
