Ontario Native Pollinator Seed Mix

Brought to you by seed company OSC, this seed mix combines beauty with support for native pollinators.

This blend of native wildflowers and grasses is designed to provide pollen and nectar for pollinator species, while providing nesting habitat for bumblebees and beneficial insects. Includes species such as anise hyssop, coneflower, blue vervain, milkweed and more. Perfect for gardens or larger areas.

Spread: 3-5 m² per pack.
Plant height: Varies depending on the species (15 to 120 cm).
Quantity per pack: Mix for 3-5 m².
Companion plants: Any flowering plants native to your area.
Enemy plants: Invasive species that could compete with wildflowers.

How to Grow:

Sow seeds in a prepared seedbed from early May to mid-June or in the fall from mid-September to late October for natural stratification. Work the soil to a depth of 1 inch, remove weeds, and surface sow, mixing the small seeds with dry sand for better distribution. Maintain moisture during the first growing season.

This mix is perfect for those who want a low maintenance garden, whilst actively supporting essential pollinators. Ideal for natural habitats and educational spaces.
