Cultivation method:
Lettuce is a cool weather crop that loves sun and grows best in organic, well-drained soil. Sow as soon as the soil can be worked in spring and then every two weeks to ensure a constant supply. Sow 3mm deep in rows 45cm apart. Ensure regular watering throughout growth. Harvest by pulling the whole plant or cutting the main leaves 2.5cm above the base to allow for new growth. Germination in 7-10 days.
